As I’m sure you know, behind every business
there’s a story, so here’s mine!
One of my favorite movies growing up was Father of the Bride – Steve Martin and Martin Short as a comedic pair? Cinematic Gold. I could have watched this movie on a constant loop as a child (and even as an adult), BUT one thing has always been missing – Black and Brown People who looked like me. As I got older and really started to lean into my love for details, organization, planning and creating beautiful spaces, the lack of Black and Brown Love and Celebration representation in the events industry persisted. Having already set out on my career in hospitality, this absence ignited a fire and coupled with my passion for event planning, emboldened me to build Love, Confetti Events.
